We may collect information you provide directly (such as account information) and information generated through your use of the Service (such as usage and learning progress). This includes:
We use information to operate the Service, provide features, improve performance, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
We also use prompts, generated-content metadata, report history, moderation events, and account-level abuse signals to run safety systems, review flagged cards, enforce moderation rules, limit repeated policy violations, and determine whether generated cards should remain public, be made private, or be removed from public discovery surfaces.
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing (Paddle), email delivery, hosting services, customer service, AI content generation (Google AI), and Text-to-Speech services.
Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that we have collected such data without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may permanently delete your account inside the application. Deleting your account permanently erases your account data and learning progress. Shared generated cards may remain available in TapClara in anonymized form after account deletion. Please note that while your data is deleted immediately from our active production systems, residual copies may remain in our encrypted disaster recovery backups for up to 30 days. These backups are put beyond use and are automatically overwritten at the end of this cycle.
Moderation records, strike history, reporting-abuse controls, card-visibility decisions, and related audit logs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, enforce our Terms, protect users or service providers, prevent repeat abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
